Moving to Beer Sheva: what to know before you move

A short guide for anyone moving to Beer Sheva: neighborhoods, seasons and planning.

Beer Sheva is the largest city in the Negev, and families, students and professionals move here all the time. A few things will help you plan.

Neighborhoods

Ramot is known for private and semi-detached homes, Neve Ze'ev and Neve Noy are family neighborhoods, the area near the university has many student apartments, and Nahal Ashan and Nahal Beka are relatively new.

Moving season

Summers in Beer Sheva are very hot. An early-morning move is better for everyone and protects furniture and sensitive appliances.

Start of the academic year

Late summer brings many student moves. If you're moving then, book early.

The towns around

Omer, Lehavim and Meitar are towns of private homes near the city. We serve them too, along with the moshavim and kibbutzim of Bnei Shimon.
